Three men are facing charges after an alleged assault and robbery in Caubati earlier this week. The suspects, all in their 20s and residing in Cunningham, are accused of attacking the victim on Monday afternoon, stealing his mobile phone and money.
According to reports, the trio had hired the victim’s taxi from Laucala, instructing the driver to take them to Caubati, where the incident took place. In response to the robbery, a team from the Southern Division worked swiftly to apprehend the suspects, who have since been charged with one count of aggravated robbery. Notably, police managed to recover the victim’s mobile phone during the investigation.
This incident reflects the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to address crime and enhance community safety. The aggressive approach taken by police agencies demonstrates a commitment to protecting citizens and holding offenders accountable. It is hoped that such rapid responses by law enforcement agencies will serve as a deterrent to potential criminal activity and restore public confidence in safety.
