A man has been arrested for allegedly receiving stolen property. Southern Division operations team executed a raid at the suspect’s residence in Cunningham on Friday, where they confiscated electronic devices and valuables believed to have been stolen.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations (ACP) Livai Driu stated that authorities are intensifying efforts to identify individuals who receive stolen goods as part of an ongoing investigation aimed at reducing theft and robbery incidents.
ACP Driu noted that thieves typically target items that can be easily sold for cash, including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, and jewelry, and that those involved are being monitored by the police. The arrested individual is currently being held at the Nabua Police Station.
