Cardi B has canceled her scheduled performance at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest after experiencing a medical emergency that required hospitalization. The announcement was made just three days before she was set to perform at the festival, with Cardi sharing her unfortunate news on her Instagram account.
In her message on October 23, the 32-year-old artist expressed her sadness over the cancellation, stating, “I am so sad to share this news, but I’ve been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won’t be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.” While she did not provide specific details about her health, Cardi conveyed her disappointment, saying, “It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
Cardi also thanked her fans for their understanding, assuring them, “I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall.”
In response, ONE MusicFest expressed their support for Cardi and encouraged fans to keep her in their prayers for a speedy recovery. They acknowledged the challenge of finding a replacement at this late date and promised more updates to come.
This health setback comes at a time when Cardi has experienced significant changes in her personal life. She welcomed her third child with estranged husband Offset in September, shortly after filing for divorce from him following seven years of marriage. Despite the challenges surrounding their separation, Cardi remains focused on her responsibilities as a mother of three, including their daughter Kulture and son Wave.
Reflecting on these changes, Cardi previously shared an uplifting message on Instagram, stating, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!” She emphasized the importance of balancing life, love, and passion without having to make sacrifices.
