Last Sunday, a vehicle accident occurred in Buca, Savusavu, resulting in the car veering off the road and crashing into a residential house. The incident took place in the early morning hours. In response, the driver and two passengers were promptly taken to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital for medical attention.
According to the Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, the driver and one passenger received treatment and were subsequently discharged. However, one passenger required further medical assessment and was transferred to Labasa Hospital.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported for the occupants of the house that was struck by the vehicle. Local police were on-site to assist the victims and manage the situation.
