A passenger was transported to Labasa Hospital following an incident where the vehicle they were in lost control and crashed into a house in Buca, Savusavu, last Sunday. According to Acting Divisional Police Commander North, Superintendent of Police Eroni Soqosoqo, the driver and two passengers were initially taken to Savusavu Subdivisional Hospital after the early morning accident.

Superintendent Soqosoqo reported that the driver and one of the passengers received treatment and were subsequently discharged. The other passenger required additional medical attention and was referred to Labasa Hospital. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the occupants of the house that was struck.

Police officers were on the scene to provide assistance to the victims involved in the crash.

This incident highlights the prompt response of medical and police personnel in ensuring the safety and treatment of those affected. It serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and caution while driving.
