As a dependable midfielder, he might fill in for Captain Malakai Tiwa, who received a red card in the first leg of the final at Subrail Park in Labasa, where Bua triumphed with a score of 1-0.
Despite not having played a match since switching to coaching, Dr. Singh is prepared for this challenge. In an interview, he emphasized the importance of hard work for his team to achieve a victory by two clear goals, despite having the advantage of playing at home.
“We need to concentrate on our gameplay and enhance our mental preparation. While home ground is an advantage, our boys must perform,” Dr. Singh stated. He acknowledged the significant impact of Tiwa’s absence, noting, “Whoever steps into his position will have big shoes to fill. Many have reached out, asking me to play. Although I have trained with the team all season, I haven’t played yet.”
