Instead, the focus of the ongoing investigation revolves around the Department of Immigration. The Prime Minister has opted to take charge of both the Immigration and the Fiji Police Force departments following Minister Tikoduadua’s decision to temporarily step back from his responsibilities during the investigation process. However, Tikoduadua continues to serve as the Minister for Defence, overseeing the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and Veterans’ Affairs.
