The Simple Green Business House Regatta unfolded at Wailoaloa Beach, drawing in 17 companies in a thrilling test of teamwork and stamina. Race Director Daryl Sakopo expressed his delight with the event, praising the beautiful weather and the competitive spirit of the participating teams.
“We are fortunate to have such beautiful weather today. The teams raced in good conditions and delivered some excellent times,” Sakopo stated, highlighting the positive atmosphere that surrounded the event.
In the Cup semi-finals, Resonance clocked the fastest time in Semi-Final 1 with 1:19.87, followed closely by ATS Sharks at 1:20.56. Vuda, FJ Virus, and Flame Tree also showcased their prowess in this hotly contested segment, all vying for a place in the finals.
Semi-Final 2 saw Pernix Vuda take the lead with an impressive time of 1:15.81, while Vaka Mana followed with a strong performance at 1:20.62. Corona, Malamala Jaguars, and FA Romantics completed the highly competitive lineup in this semi-final.
With the first leg of the regatta behind them, participants and spectators alike are looking ahead with excitement to the second Business House Regatta scheduled for April 4.
