Police in the Northern division successfully intercepted a significant marijuana delivery on a bus. Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu reported that the seizure occurred at a roadblock on Bagasau Road, where officers from the Tukavesi Police Station searched the luggage compartment of a bus, uncovering a black bag filled with what is believed to be marijuana.
In a separate incident during a routine check on Monday night, police also recovered several branches of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana on Sabeto Road. The authorities arrested the two individuals who were occupants of the vehicle involved.
