Two men have been apprehended by the police for allegedly intimidating a bus attendant at the Nadi Bus station. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations Livai Driu, the pair had gained notoriety after a video of their behavior went viral on social media. They were arrested this morning for causing disturbances in a public area.

ACP Driu emphasized that such conduct not only threatens the safety of drivers and passengers but also fosters an unsettling atmosphere for everyone involved in the transport system. He urged PSV drivers to take action if they find themselves in similar situations, encouraging them to stop at nearby police stations, community posts, or checkpoints to report any incidents.

To foster a safe community environment, ACP Driu highlighted the importance of vigilance and collectively looking out for one another as the festive season approaches, aiming for an incident-free Christmas.

In summary, this situation highlights the ongoing efforts of local authorities to ensure the safety and comfort of public transport users. As the community comes together to address such behaviors, there remains hope for a more peaceful and secure transportation experience during the holiday season.
