BULA Football Club has officially revealed its new team uniform alongside its major sponsor, Extra Supermarket, which has entered into a landmark partnership with RK21, a high-end apparel brand founded by renowned Fijian football player Roy Krishna. This momentous occasion comes as the club gears up for its inaugural campaign in the OFC Professional League.

Through this collaboration with RK21, Bula FC will don a kit that embodies the legacy and vision of one of Oceania’s most beloved footballers, setting the stage for a significant regional presence. Extra Supermarket, known for its long-standing support of football in Fiji—having backed various tournaments and competitions—has expanded its commitment to the sport by lending its support to Bula FC in the upcoming league.

Promoting health and wellness, Extra Supermarket encourages families to make informed food choices, aligning perfectly with Bula FC’s mission to advocate for fitness, discipline, and positive lifestyle values through sports.

Rajesh Patel, the Fiji FA president and executive board member, expressed his approval of the new partnership. He commended Extra Supermarket’s continued involvement in football, stating, “Extra Supermarket has always been behind football in Fiji, supporting tournaments right across the country. It’s commendable to see them step up at the professional level with Bula FC, demonstrating real belief in the future of the sport.”

With this enhanced collaboration, Extra Supermarket’s total investment in Fijian football, spanning all divisions from futsal to domestic competitions, now amounts to $1,000,000. This marks a significant shift from grassroots and youth development to professional engagement.

Lailanie Burnes, Extra Supermarket’s chief marketing officer, emphasized that this partnership transcends mere branding. It focuses on nation-building through sport, inspiring youth, uniting communities, and proudly placing Fiji on the international football map.

Bula FC is excited about the opportunity to work closely with Extra Supermarket, aiming to elevate the game, engage local communities, and create something truly special together. The club’s commitment, alongside strong backing from its sponsors, symbolizes a bright future for football in Fiji.
