BULA FC’s strength and conditioning coach, Joshua Raj, is optimistic about the team as they gear up for their inaugural professional football season. Raj believes that the squad has a strong enough depth to remain competitive when the season kicks off.

“There is great potential in the team; a blend of young talent and experienced players,” stated Raj, who previously served as the strength and conditioning coach for the India national football team. He emphasized the significance of the foreign players joining the team, noting that their diverse backgrounds will provide added value.

Raj also highlighted the world-class support from the staff, expressing confidence that a collaborative approach will lead to an exciting and successful season ahead. “The staff’s expertise will certainly enhance our performance, and as we approach the competition, we will all be aligned and prepared,” he commented.

Expressing his pride in being appointed to the role, Raj shared, “Receiving a call a few weeks ago was unexpected. I had heard wonderful things about the team, but getting the opportunity to work with them is truly special.” He added that he relishes being part of the Bula FC family and believes that the effort put in during their preparation will yield positive results.

With a wealth of talent at his disposal, Raj is enthusiastic about helping Bula FC achieve its ambitions in the upcoming OFC Pro League. The team is continuing their training at the Fiji Football Ba Academy and will launch their campaign against Vanuatu United FC at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand, on January 17.

With the dedication and expertise of both the players and staff, Bula FC is poised for an exciting journey in their first professional season.
