Bula FC has made notable strides ahead of the upcoming OFC Pro League season by signing two talented overseas players, winger Kaile Auvray and midfielder Yuta Konagaya, to enhance their squad.
Kaile Auvray, an accomplished wide attacker with significant international exposure, brings a mix of experience and agility to the team. Raised in the United States after being born in France, Auvray started his football journey at just five years old. He honed his skills at prestigious academies, including LOSC Lille in France and Sporting Kansas City in the US.
Throughout his professional career, Auvray has played across the Americas and the Caribbean. He enjoyed a successful stint with Cavaliers SC in Jamaica, where he won the Jamaica Premier League, lifted the Caribbean Cup, and made appearances in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, including a notable match against Inter Miami. He has also competed in Major League Soccer with Columbus Crew, gaining invaluable top-tier experience.
Auvray has represented several national teams at different levels, including France’s under-17 squad and the United States’ under-16 team. Most recently, he played for Trinidad and Tobago’s senior national team, participating in crucial matches like the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup, and the 2024 Copa América playoffs under the mentorship of former Manchester United striker turned coach Dwight Yorke.
Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Bula FC, Auvray stated, “I am very happy to be joining the club and am looking forward to playing in front of the supporters in the OFC Pro League. I am excited for the opportunity and ready to give everything for the badge.”
Alongside him is Japanese midfielder Yuta Konagaya, who has been steadily building his football career since starting at the age of six in Japan. Over the years, Konagaya has amassed experience competing in Australia and Europe, underscoring Bula FC’s commitment to strengthening their roster with diverse talent.
Having secured these two promising players, Bula FC is positioning itself for a competitive season in the OFC Pro League, igniting hopes of impressive performances and deep runs in the tournament.
