The Digicel Fiji National Football Team has climbed to the 150th position in the latest FIFA World Rankings, gaining three spots from their previous ranking. This rise is a result of their impressive performances in the Tri-Nations series, where they achieved a victory against the Solomon Islands and secured a draw with Hong Kong.
Coached by Rob Sherman, the Bula Boys are now the third highest-ranked team in Oceania, following New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th. Additionally, Samoa has also made significant strides, moving up seven places to 185th after winning matches against Tonga and American Samoa in their FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Globally, Argentina maintains its status as the top-ranked team, solidifying its position as the reigning world champions.
