The Digicel Fiji National Football Team has advanced to the 150th spot in the latest FIFA World Rankings, gaining three positions from their earlier ranking.
This positive movement follows their commendable performances in the Tri-Nations series, where they secured a victory against the Solomon Islands and achieved a draw with Hong Kong.
Under the leadership of coach Rob Sherman, the Bula Boys are now positioned as the third-highest ranked team in Oceania, following New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th.
Additionally, Samoa has also seen significant improvement, moving up seven places to 185th after winning against Tonga and American Samoa in their FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
On the international scene, Argentina retains its status as the top-ranked team, maintaining its supremacy as the current world champions.
