Bukayo Saka has officially secured a new long-term contract with Arsenal, ensuring his place as one of the club’s highest-paid players. This move underscores Arsenal’s commitment to retaining their vital squad members as they aim to maintain their title-chasing ambitions.

The signing follows a summer during which other key players, including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly, also agreed to long-term deals, further solidifying the team’s core. Saka, an England international, has been an integral part of the Gunners since making his debut in 2018 after progressing through the Hale End academy.

During the last season, Saka showcased his talent, contributing 12 goals and 13 assists over 37 appearances, despite facing a three-month setback from a hamstring injury that necessitated surgery in December 2024. By the end of the 2023-24 season, Saka not only emerged as the team’s captain but also led as their top scorer with 20 goals.

He has continued to impress this season, having netted seven goals and provided six assists in just 27 appearances. Currently, Arsenal is on track to end their trophy drought, holding a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League and maintaining a perfect record in the Champions League with six consecutive wins.

With Saka’s new contract, the club reinforces its strategy of investing in homegrown talent and fostering a competitive spirit as they aspire for success this term.
