Aseri Radrodro, the Leader of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) and Minister for Education, expressed his strong dedication to utilizing the lessons from the past to create a more unified and promising future for Fiji. In his New Year address, he emphasized the party’s ongoing commitment to building a nation where every Fijian, irrespective of their background or ethnicity, can thrive together in harmony.

Radrodro referenced a biblical verse from Proverbs 29:18 to underline the significance of clear leadership and a shared vision, stating, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” This quote highlights the essential role of unity and purpose in guiding the country’s collective journey.

Looking ahead to 2025, he reaffirmed SODELPA’s pledge to serve the populace with humility, integrity, and determination. A key focus will be on enhancing party policies to empower all communities and support vulnerable groups, particularly Indigenous peoples, whose welfare plays a vital role in Fiji’s progress.

In closing, Radrodro called on his fellow citizens to embrace the New Year with renewed dedication, aiming for unity and advancement. He expressed hope that together, 2025 can be a transformative year filled with promise for all Fijians.

This message of inclusivity and commitment presents an optimistic outlook for Fiji’s future, emphasizing collaboration and the importance of supporting every community to ensure collective growth and prosperity.
