Bua’s head coach Ritesh Chand has declared that his team is aiming for victory and will not settle for a draw in their Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Tavua.
In an interview, Chand highlighted the extensive hard work and sacrifices that have led the team to this crucial match. “A lot is at stake. We’ve traveled all the way from Bua at our own expense, and we’re very close to winning. I know the boys will give everything they’ve got; otherwise, all the hard work and effort will be wasted,” he stated.
Chand also noted some injury concerns within the team, including their goalkeeper. He revealed that they reached out to Fiji FA a week ago to request a change of registration for some players, but their request was denied.
Despite these challenges, Chand remains optimistic, expressing that Bua’s motivation stems from the sacrifices made, and they are just one step away from achieving a significant milestone in their history.
