Bua’s head coach Ritesh Chand has declared that his team is determined to secure victory in their Premier League Promotion Final Play-Off against Tavua, refusing to settle for a draw. In an interview, Chand highlighted the dedication and effort that have led the team to this critical moment.

“A lot is at stake. We’ve traveled all the way from Bua at our own expense, and we’re so close to winning. I know the boys will give everything they’ve got; otherwise, all the hard work and effort will be wasted,” he said.

Chand acknowledged that injuries have affected the team, including some players and the goalkeeper. He mentioned that they had approached the Fiji FA last week to request a change of registration but were turned down. Despite these setbacks, Chand exuded confidence, noting that the team’s motivation stems from their sacrifices and that they are on the brink of making history.
