BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has recently completed a significant community project for Koroqaqa Primary School in Baulevu, Naitasiri, focusing on enhancing the school’s infrastructure to foster a better learning environment and improve access to hygienic facilities for students.
The initiative, led by BSP’s Thomson St and Samabula branches, involved the construction of three new toilet blocks, including one equipped with a shower facility to support students engaged in after-school sports activities. Additionally, the school’s kindergarten complex underwent general maintenance and upgrades, which included the installation of new cabinets, sinks, and a renovated indoor toilet block. A water tank and three hand basins were also added as part of the upgrades.
During the handover ceremony, BSP’s general manager for retail, Ravindra Singh, highlighted the importance of Koroqaqa Primary School in shaping the future for children in Baulevu and surrounding areas. He expressed pride in the bank’s investment to create safe and hygienic learning environments, noting that this project was made possible through the dedicated efforts of BSP staff who volunteered their time and skills.
