The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have officially announced their roster for the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season, aiming to build upon their impressive run to the semi-finals last year.

A significant highlight is the retention of 30 players from the previous season, showcasing a balance of seasoned veterans and promising young talent. The squad includes seven members of the Wallabies who recently achieved a notable victory over England, including Nick Frost, Rob Valetini, Noah Lolesio, Len Ikitau, Tom Wright, Alaalatoa, and James Slipper. This core group played vital roles in their match, with performances such as Wright’s seventh Test try and Lolesio’s 13-point contribution via kicking.

In addition to the returning players, the 2025 roster welcomes six new faces. This includes two fresh signings from the Melbourne Rebels: versatile forward Tuaina Taii Tualima and center David Feliuai. The squad also promotes four Academy graduates from the Elite Development squad: Kadin Pritchard, Shane Wilcox, Lachlan Hooper, and Tevita Alatini, underscoring the club’s commitment to developing homegrown talent.

Head coach Stephen Larkham expressed his satisfaction with the squad, emphasizing the importance of continuity and the potential impact of new acquisitions. He noted that the young talent coming up through the ranks adds an exciting dimension to the team’s future. The supportive atmosphere in the team’s preseason training is encouraging, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling season ahead.

As the Brumbies gear up for their season opener against Fijian Drua in Suva on February 15, 2025, the club remains optimistic about continuing their upward trajectory in Super Rugby Pacific.

This year is poised to be an exciting one for the Brumbies and their fanbase, as they not only rely on their experienced players but also empower a new generation of talent to shine on the rugby field.
