Brother New Zealand Unveils Game-Changing Distribution Network in the Pacific

Brother New Zealand, a supplier of home and office printers, has launched its new distribution network called ‘Pacific Brothers’, marking a significant expansion in the Pacific region. The announcement was made in Suva, where Executive Chairman Graham Walshe expressed gratitude to the company’s partners for their support in building the necessary infrastructure.

Walshe stated, “We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from our partners in establishing our distribution network. Today, we are excited to showcase the results of our hard work and share our vision for the future.”

‘Pacific Brothers’ aims to enhance Brother’s distribution throughout Fiji and the wider Pacific Islands. The network will manage a variety of products including sewing machines, P-touch labeling products, and essential tools for the clothing manufacturing, corporate, and retail sectors. The new distribution model emphasizes sustainability and customer-focused service.

The company intends to resolve 80 percent of customer support issues remotely, thus reducing the need for on-site repairs and supporting its environmental sustainability objectives. Walshe also mentioned that the company commits to providing free installation, training, and environmentally responsible disposal of packaging for purchases over $898.

Furthermore, he highlighted the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility, which includes allocating 10 percent of profits to combat child poverty and enhance educational opportunities, in alignment with global social development goals.

The operations in Fiji are set to serve as a hub for the Pacific, managing distribution, support, and training. “Fiji as the hub of the Pacific will be our center of excellence, creating jobs and serving as a model for sustainable and responsible business practices,” Walshe stated.

He affirmed Brother’s commitment to meet customer needs with integrity and transparency, aiming to exceed expectations and build long-lasting relationships with clients across the region.
