Brother New Zealand Seeks Fresh Start in Fiji with New Distributor

Brother New Zealand, a print technology company, has announced the appointment of a new distributor for its products in Fiji and the Pacific region following the termination of its long-standing relationship with Telecom Fiji Ltd. The new distributor, Pacific Brothers Distributor Pte Ltd, was introduced during an announcement made this week in Suva.

Warwick Beban, managing director of Brother New Zealand, addressed the audience via video link from Europe, sharing his enthusiasm for the partnership and its growth potential. He emphasized the importance of Fiji to their business and acknowledged that they had reached a critical juncture, where the previous distributor informed them that Brother’s products were no longer deemed a core part of their future operations.

“We believe our products are essential and require a partner willing to showcase our full range in the market, which will foster growth for all parties involved,” Beban stated.

He pointed out the need for a dedicated partner, given Fiji’s significance to Brother’s operations, and noted the challenges experienced with the prior distributor, which had stopped offering technical and warranty support for Brother’s products.

“We are genuinely concerned about Telecom Fiji Ltd’s actions and greatly appreciate the proactive support you are providing to clients,” he expressed to the new distributor, Pacific Brothers.

The newly established partnership is set to offer 24/7 help desk support and complimentary calls for customers.
