Brother New Zealand has announced a new distributor for its products in Fiji and the Pacific region after ending its long-standing partnership with Telecom Fiji Ltd. The new distributor, Pacific Brothers Distributor Pte Ltd, was introduced this week in Suva.
Warwick Beban, managing director of Brother New Zealand, expressed his enthusiasm for the new collaboration through a video message from Europe, highlighting the potential for growth and mutual benefits. He noted that Fiji has traditionally been a significant market for their business, but recent developments prompted the need for a new partner. Beban stated that the previous distributor no longer considered Brother’s products as part of their core business, which necessitated finding a company that would actively represent their full product line.
He emphasized the importance of having a dedicated partner in Fiji to support the company’s offerings and acknowledged difficulties experienced with the previous distributor, particularly concerning the lack of technical and warranty support. Beban expressed appreciation for Pacific Brothers taking on the responsibility of client support.
The new partnership is set to provide customers with 24/7 help desk support and complimentary service calls.
