Former Flying Fijians and Bristol Bears centre Kalaveti Ravouvou showcased his exceptional skill by scoring two tries in Bristol’s impressive 54-24 victory against Leicester. The Bears dominated the match, setting a new club record with 40 points in the first half, scoring six tries from six opportunities within Leicester’s 22-meter area.

In just his third premiership match of the season, the talented Nadroumai, Nadroga player has already scored five tries, starting all three matches since Round 6. He now trails only his teammate Gabriel Ibitoye, who leads the premiership in tries.

The Bears produced a total of eight tries while Leicester managed five in the match. Ravouvou made a significant impact with a clever break in the 35th minute, helping to transition the ball from deep in their half. He connected with Ibitoye, who then set up Richard Lane for a try. In a standout moment, Ravouvou executed a breathtaking solo try after a powerful break from inside their own 22, an effort that many are considering as a contender for try of the season.

Ravouvou first crossed the line in the 19th minute, and his teammate added another try in the 28th minute, leading to a halftime score of 40-12 in favor of Bristol.

Bristol Bears head coach Pat Lam praised his team’s performance, stating that scoring 50 points against Leicester is a significant achievement. He highlighted that the first half was one of the best displays during his tenure and reflected the strong training they’ve been doing. Although the second half showed a dip in performance, Lam expressed satisfaction with the overall result and emphasized the importance of maintaining their momentum as they prepare for their next match against Sale.
