This collaboration was highlighted during a cheque handover ceremony attended by key executives from both organizations at the bank’s head office in Suva.

The bank expressed its dedication to education, financial empowerment, and professional development through this partnership. Pierre Tastet, the CEO of BRED Bank Fiji, emphasized the vital role teachers play in shaping the country’s future. “At BRED Bank, we believe in ‘Aligning Energies’ to drive progress and create meaningful impact in the territories we serve,” he stated. He also noted that the conference will facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among educators, while BRED Bank plans to share financial literacy insights with conference participants.

FTU General Secretary Muniappa Goundar acknowledged the significance of BRED Bank’s support, which strengthens the relationship between the two entities. He pointed out that the upcoming FTU BRED Bank Conference is crucial for discussing educational matters and advancing professional development among members.

Scheduled for May 6-7 at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort & Spa, this conference presents a promising opportunity for educators to engage in meaningful discussions that address key educational challenges.
