Former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum was questioned and subsequently released from the CID Headquarters this evening.

Police Chief of Crime, ACP Mesake Waqa, revealed that Sayed-Khaiyum is being questioned regarding allegations of abuse of office related to his tenure as the Minister for Aviation and Attorney-General from 2018 to 2022.
