Authorities are looking into a burglary at the official residence of the Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service in Nasese. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the incident took place on September 29, despite the property being well-fenced and monitored by FCS personnel. Currently, no arrests have been made.
FCS Commissioner Jalesi Nakarawa shared that a room was ransacked during the break-in, and traditional artifacts, including a whale’s tooth or tabua, were taken. He also noted that no one was injured during the incident.
