An investigation is currently being conducted following a violent altercation outside a nightclub in Suva. The incident has gained significant attention on social media, as footage of the brawl circulates widely.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACPO) Livai Driu confirmed that he has been informed about the incident and that a team from the Central Division is in the process of identifying and apprehending those involved. “We are actively working on this, beginning with questioning the staff who were on duty at the nightclubs in the vicinity,” he stated.
Furthermore, ACP Driu noted that police officers were present at the scene and provided assistance to those injured by transporting them to the hospital. A few individuals are expected to be taken in for questioning today as the investigation unfolds.
