Brawl Outside Suva Nightclub Leaves Six Injured: Police Investigation Underway

A violent altercation outside a popular nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in a state of unconsciousness. According to police reports, these unconscious patients are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, along with a third person whose condition is reported to be stable.

The situation also involves three other individuals who have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, and they are all reportedly stable as well. It is believed that some of those involved in the brawl were members of a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, who had celebrated their awards night in Suva the previous evening.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has stated that the Central Division police team is actively investigating the incident and is working to apprehend those involved.

This unfortunate event highlights the importance of community safety and the consequences of public altercations. Moving forward, it will be crucial for authorities to address these violent incidents to ensure the safety of all citizens and visitors in the area.
