A violent incident outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals requiring hospitalization, with two of them currently in a state of unconsciousness. Police authorities have reported that the two patients are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, alongside a third person who is said to be stable.

Additionally, three other individuals have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, where they are also reported to be in stable condition. It appears that some of those involved in the altercation belong to a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards ceremony in Suva the previous evening.

Livai Driu, the Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, confirmed that the police in the Central Division are actively investigating the incident and are in the process of identifying and apprehending those responsible.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of safety in nightlife environments and the role of law enforcement in maintaining order. The police efforts to track down those involved indicate a commitment to ensuring public safety.

While the health outcomes for some of the injured individuals remain concerning, it is reassuring to note that many are reported to be stable. The community hopes for a swift recovery for all involved and looks forward to comprehensive measures being put in place to prevent such incidents in the future.
