A violent altercation outside a well-known nightclub in Suva has resulted in six individuals being hospitalized, with two of them currently in an unconscious condition. According to police reports, these two patients are receiving care at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, alongside a third individual who is now believed to be stable.
The other three people involved in the brawl have been admitted to Sigatoka Hospital, where their condition is also reported to be stable. Preliminary investigations suggest that some of those involved in the incident are associated with a Rugby League club from Sigatoka, which held its awards night in Suva the previous evening.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, has stated that the police team in the Central Division is actively investigating the situation and is working to apprehend all individuals involved in the brawl.
