IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is aiming to defeat Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

During the official weigh-in, Hill, appearing fit, registered a weight of 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea came in at 69.8 kilograms. Hill is also looking forward to a double celebration, as his brother, Jonathan Hill, is set to compete against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title in one of the undercard bouts.

“We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been training together for a long time,” Hill stated. “I’m excited for fight night. It features a great lineup with significant titles at stake. Prince Charles Park will be lively with the ring announcer and the presence of Sonny Bill Williams.”

In another matchup, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh expressed confidence in claiming the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title from Australia’s powerful competitor ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kilograms, while Tongotongo was at 87.55 kilograms.

“I’m thrilled about the preparations we’ve undergone against my opponent,” Singh commented. “We feel healthy and energized. I just want to get it done.” While he refrained from making specific predictions, he noted that he is ready for whatever unfolds during the fight.

Fiji super middleweight champion Siliveni Nawai, who registered a weight of 75.5 kilograms, is prepared for his match against Jonathan Hill, who weighed in at 74.8 kilograms. “I have prepared for this fight and will see what Hill brings,” said Nawai, earning the nickname “Hands of Stone.”
