Winston Hill, the IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion, is set to take on Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event at Prince Charles Park in Nadi tonight. Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8 kilograms during yesterday’s official weigh-in.

Hill is not only focused on his own fight but also aims for a double celebration as his brother, Jonathan Hill, will face Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title in one of the undercard matches. Hill expressed confidence in their preparations, noting, “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together in camp. I’m looking forward to fight night. It is a big card, big fights with lots of big titles on the line.” He added that the presence of notable figures such as Sonny Bill Williams would enhance the atmosphere.

In another bout, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh is eager to claim the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title from Australia’s knockout specialist, ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kilograms, while Tongotongo was at 87.55 kilograms. Singh expressed excitement over the hard work both fighters have put in, stating, “We are in good health, a lot of adrenaline. I just want to get the job done.” While he refrained from making any specific predictions, he stated, “Whatever happens, happens.”

Additionally, Fiji super middleweight title holder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5 kilograms, compared to Jonathan Hill’s 74.8 kilograms. Nawai, known as “Hands of Stone,” said he has prepared extensively for this fight and is ready for any challenge Hill may present.
