IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is set to take on Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the headline fight at Prince Charles Park in Nadi tonight. During the official weigh-in yesterday, Hill measured in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8 kg.

In addition to his own bout, Hill is also looking forward to a double celebration, as his brother Jonathan is competing against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together in training camp,” Hill stated. He expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the impressive card and significant titles at stake. “Prince Charles Park will come alive with the ring announcer and Sonny Bill Williams in attendance,” he added. “Team Hill is here, and it feels unique to fight alongside my brother as he pursues a national title.”

In another match, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh shared his confidence in securing the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title against Australia’s KO specialist, ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kg, while Tongotongo was at 87.55 kg. Singh expressed excitement over their training, stating, “We are in good health, with a lot of adrenaline. I just want to get the job done,” though he refrained from making any predictions, saying, “whatever happens, happens.”

Fiji super middleweight titleholder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5 kg for his fight against Jonathan Hill, who weighed 74.8 kg. Nawai, known as Hands of Stone, said, “I have prepped for this fight and I’ll await what Hill has in store for me.”
