IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion Winston Hill is determined to defeat Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea tonight in the main event at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park. During the official weigh-in, Hill weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8 kilograms.

Hill is also looking forward to a dual celebration, as his brother Jonathan Hill is set to compete against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title in one of the undercard matches. Hill expressed confidence in their training, stating, “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have been spending a long time together in camp.” He added, “I’m looking forward to fight night. It is a big card, big fights with lots of big titles on the line.” The event is expected to be lively, featuring ring announcer and former rugby star Sonny Bill Williams.

In another match, Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh is optimistic about claiming the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title from Australia’s ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo. Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title, weighed in at 89.75 kg, while Tongotongo was at 87.55 kg. The Suva boxer expressed his enthusiasm, noting, “I’m excited for the hard yards we have done with my opponent.” He refrained from making specific predictions but said, “Whatever happens, happens.”

Fiji’s super middleweight champion Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5 kg ahead of his fight with Jonathan Hill, who weighed in at 74.8 kg. Nawai, known as the Hands of Stone, stated, “I have prepped for this fight and I’ll await what Hill has in store for me.”
