The South Pacific Boxing Promotion (SPBP) event taking place today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi is being touted as a significant and historic occasion featuring three international IBO title fights in a single night for Fiji and the surrounding region.
At the official weigh-in held yesterday, promoter Freddy Chand reported that most of the boxers were present and eager for the competition.
“All the boxers have made the weight today, and all the bouts are scheduled for today,” he stated.
Chand noted the impressive turnout and expressed expectations for a large crowd.
“From South Pacific Boxing Promotion, everything is proceeding smoothly, and we encourage boxing fans to purchase tickets to avoid missing out,” he said.
He confirmed that all matches are sanctioned and ready to take place today.
Chand also expressed gratitude to those who attended the weigh-in at Nair Dias yesterday, saying, “I want to thank everyone for coming out in great numbers to support the event.”
