Paradise Beverages’ Bounty Rum brand has been announced as the major sponsor for the third annual Stir It Up Fiji 2024 Music Festival scheduled for next month.
This year, the BOUNTY Stir It Up Music Festival will take place at the VOU Hub in Denarau, marking a significant change from previous years, as stated by the company.
Mike Spencer, the general manager of Paradise Beverages, emphasized that this sponsorship reflects the company’s support for community initiatives. “We’ve been supporting various community events such as the Fiji Bitter 7s Series Tournaments and fashion shows. Now, we are stepping up our support for this exceptional music festival. The music industry is just as important to us,” Mr. Spencer remarked.
Since its inception in 1980, the Bounty Rum brand has established itself as the “Spirit of the South Pacific,” crafted using high-quality sugar, exceptional water, and optimal rum-making conditions. Mr. Spencer highlighted the brand’s dedication with a record of accolades, including a recent Gold medal at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition.
The BOUNTY Stir It Up Festival, organized by the Wailoaloa Beach Club, will feature a lineup of renowned international artists, including DJ Noiz, Kenyon Brown, Binna Butta, and Donelle Brown.
Lara Khan, the festival organizer and managing director of Wailoaloa Beach, noted that the move to the VOU Hub reflects a commitment to enhancing the festival experience for attendees. “While we have loved hosting the festival at our home ground for the past two years, we are eager to see how the new venue will elevate the event, offering a fresh and exciting environment for festival-goers. The growth of Stir It Up Fiji has been rapid, necessitating a larger space to accommodate more attendees and provide a wider range of activities. The VOU Hub provides the ideal setting for this expansion, ensuring we can continue to deliver an outstanding festival experience,” she stated.
