Bounty Rum, produced by Paradise Beverages, will serve as the primary sponsor for the upcoming third annual Stir It Up Fiji 2024 Music Festival, scheduled for next month. This year’s festival will take place at the VOU Hub in Denarau, marking a notable shift from previous locations.

Mike Spencer, general manager of Paradise Beverages, highlighted that this sponsorship reflects the company’s commitment to supporting community events. “We’ve been championing various community events, such as the Fiji Bitter 7s Series Tournaments and fashion shows. Now, we’re taking it a notch higher by continuing our support for this remarkable music festival. The music industry is just as vital to us,” stated Spencer.

Since its inception in 1980, Bounty Rum has established itself as the “Spirit of the South Pacific,” crafted from premium sugar, exceptional water, and optimal rum-making conditions. Spencer noted the brand’s dedication is validated by numerous awards, including a recent Gold medal at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition.

The BOUNTY Stir It Up Festival, organized by the Wailoaloa Beach Club, will showcase a range of prominent international artists such as DJ Noiz, Kenyon Brown, Binna Butta, and Donelle Brown. Lara Khan, managing director of Wailoaloa Beach and festival organizer, explained that the relocation to VOU Hub is aimed at enhancing the experience for festival-goers.

“While we have cherished hosting the festival for the past two years at our home ground, we are excited to see how the new venue will elevate the event, providing a fresh and exciting environment for festival-goers,” Khan remarked. She added that the rapid growth of Stir It Up Fiji necessitated a larger space to accommodate the increasing number of attendees and to enable more diverse activities.

“The VOU Hub offers the perfect setting for this growth, ensuring we can continue to deliver an exceptional festival experience,” she concluded.
