Paradise Beverages’ Bounty Rum label has been announced as the major sponsor of the upcoming third annual Stir It Up Fiji 2024 Music Festival, set to take place next month. This year’s festival will be hosted at the VOU Hub in Denarau, marking a significant change from previous locations, as stated by the company.

Mike Spencer, the general manager of Paradise Beverages, highlighted that this sponsorship is part of their ongoing support for community events. He noted, “We have been advocating for various community events, including the Fiji Bitter 7s Series Tournaments and fashion shows. We are now raising our commitment by supporting this outstanding music festival, as the music industry is essential to us.”

Founded in 1980, the Bounty Rum brand has established itself as the “Spirit of the South Pacific,” crafted using high-quality sugar, exceptional water, and optimal rum-making conditions. Spencer added, “Our dedication is reflected in our accolades, including a Gold medal at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition.”

The BOUNTY Stir It Up Festival, organized by the Wailoaloa Beach Club, will feature performances from several well-known international artists, including DJ Noiz, Kenyon Brown, Binna Butta, and Donelle Brown.

Lara Khan, the festival organizer and managing director of Wailoaloa Beach, expressed excitement about the venue change. “Moving the event to the VOU Hub demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the experience for attendees. We have enjoyed hosting the festival at our previous location for two years, but we are eager to see how the new venue will elevate the event, offering a fresh and engaging environment.”

She further emphasized the growth of Stir It Up Fiji, stating, “The festival is expanding rapidly, necessitating a larger space to accommodate the increasing number of attendees and to facilitate more diverse activities. The VOU Hub provides the ideal setting for this growth, ensuring we can consistently offer an exceptional festival experience.”
