The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), will conduct a weeklong grassroots coaching course designed to promote women’s football in Fiji.
Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, highlighted the value of this opportunity for local coaches to learn from KNVB’s acclaimed coach education programs. “KNVB is recognized globally for their high-level coach education, and having them involved marks a significant step forward in developing football in Fiji,” Jankowski remarked.
Scheduled from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, the course will provide training for 33 coaches. This group includes 31 Fijians from various backgrounds such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, in addition to two participants from Tuvalu.
