Mereseini Uluimoala, an athlete from Natabua High School, believes that success in sports extends beyond physical training, attributing much of her recent achievements to teamwork and spiritual preparation. Uluimoala recently excelled at the Lautoka/Yasawa Zone meet, where she won gold in the junior girls’ high jump and contributed to her team’s gold medal victory in the 4x400m relay. She also claimed silver in the junior girls’ long jump, showcasing her versatility across multiple events.
Uluimoala hails from Naioti, Yale in Kadavu, and faces the challenge of commuting daily from Nadi to Lautoka for school. Nevertheless, her dedication to athletics remains unwavering as she looks ahead to the Coca-Cola Games.
