Beloved FPTC Leader Tevita Kuruvakadua Passes Away at 51

Tevita Kuruvakadua, the former Chief Executive of the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation, has died after a brief illness at the age of 51. He passed away on August 13. Kuruvakadua was appointed to the position in April 2024 and served until last month when he opted for early retirement.

In a statement, the Fiji Public Trustee Corporation acknowledged that despite his short tenure, Kuruvakadua made significant contributions with his extensive knowledge, passion, and innovative approach, which resonated with the entire staff. His impact on the organization will be remembered, and his leadership will leave a lasting legacy.

Kuruvakadua had a background in accounting and financial management. Funeral arrangements are anticipated to be announced shortly.
