Adi Cakobau School is set to face Bucalevu Secondary in the semi-final of the Weetbix U18 Raluve Trophy next weekend. ACS, featuring Fijiana Drua halfback Noelani Baselala, achieved a hard-earned victory against Jasper Williams High School, winning 34-24. The team from Sawani started strong, scoring two quick tries in the first half, which put them ahead 12-5 at halftime.
In the second half, the match remained intense, but ACS managed to pull away with three additional tries, making it challenging for Jasper to close the gap. On the other hand, Bucalevu Secondary secured their place in the semi-final with a thrilling 15-12 victory over Lomary Secondary School. In a nail-biting finish, Bucalevu was down 10-12 when their fullback executed a pivotal play, rushing for a last-minute try that clinched the win.
