Ba’s Journey: Can Timoci Seru Revive the Men’s Side?

Ba FA President Azam Ali has emphasized that the senior men’s team is still a work in progress under the guidance of Timoci Seru, who has been in charge for the last two weeks.

“Timoci Seru has been part of the team’s coaching staff for some time now, and he has recently taken the lead. I am pleased with how he guided the team in their first match against Navua,” said Ali.

He noted that playing away against Navua is always a tough challenge, but the team performed admirably, resulting in a draw.

Despite this, Ba’s recent performances have sparked concern among fans and analysts. The once-formidable Men in Black are struggling to regain their former dominance, as inconsistency has become a significant issue.

Ali recognized the validity of these concerns, stating that the team takes critics’ opinions into account.

Looking ahead, Ba plans to field their youth players in their upcoming match against Nadroga this weekend during the DFPL Round 14, in hopes of achieving the desired results.

Ba will host Nadroga at the Fiji FA Ba Academy Grounds on Sunday at 3 PM.
