Ba came from behind to secure a 4-2 victory against Nadroga in Round 14 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Namosau today.
Nadroga’s Semesa Sacere opened the scoring early, putting the hosts under pressure. However, Ba responded with two impressive goals from Fiji U19 captain Penisoni Tirau and defender Suliano Tawanakoro, taking a 2-1 lead by halftime.
Etonia Dogalau added Ba’s third goal from the penalty spot, but Sacere managed to net his second goal for Nadroga shortly after. With this win, Rooster Chicken Ba has climbed to fourth place in the standings with 22 points, while Nadroga has fallen to eighth with 14 points.
