Ba rallied from an early deficit to defeat Nadroga 4-2 in Round 14 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Namosau today.
Nadroga took the lead with an early goal from Semesa Sacere, which surprised the home team. However, Ba responded with two skillfully executed goals from Fiji U19 Captain Penisoni Tirau and defender Suliano Tawanakoro, ending the first half with a 2-1 advantage.
Etonia Dogalau extended Ba’s lead by converting a penalty, and although Sacere scored again for Nadroga, it wasn’t enough to turn the tide.
With this victory, Rooster Chicken Ba has climbed to fourth place in the standings with 22 points, while Nadroga has fallen to eighth, accumulating 14 points.
