Three men linked to a scheme that allegedly defrauded the Bank South Pacific of over $140,000 have acknowledged receiving complete disclosures. Alexander Fong, Hirdesh Chand, and Ifran Hussein face charges of obtaining financial benefits through deception.

Fong, formerly a senior manager at BSP, is accused of colluding with Chand and Hussein to defraud the bank by improperly selling eight vehicles between December 8, 2018, and December 21, 2022.

The trial is scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 14 of next year, as determined in a hearing held by Magistrate Yogesh Prasad at the Suva Magistrate’s Court on September 3. The defendants are set to return for the pretrial conference on November 28.
