Baby Jack’s, a well-known children’s retail chain, has launched its fourth store in Fiji, an important step in its growth strategy. The new outlet is situated in the Damodar complex in Suva.

This addition brings the total number of Baby Jack’s locations to four, beginning with the first store in Suva on Renwick Road in 2016. The Lautoka store was established in 2021, followed by a flagship store in Nadi in 2023.

Rayna Chandra, Senior Marketing Officer at Jack’s of Fiji, observed that the initial opening in Suva garnered positive feedback and created a strong demand for additional locations in the central area. She noted that this demand led to the new store’s development within the Damodar complex, which attracts thousands of visitors daily, promising to enhance both business and the complex’s atmosphere.

The Baby Jack’s store features a variety of in-house brands, including Katchi Kid’s, Crazy Jack’s, Firstribe, and Jackie K, in addition to international brands like Ryco, Bright Starts, and Avent. The store offers a wide array of products ranging from stylish yet affordable children’s clothing to essential items for parents, including strollers, cots, baby walkers, and a diverse selection of educational and recreational toys.

Akash Narsey, Group Marketing Manager at Jack’s of Fiji, shared insights about the motivation behind the new store, indicating that it aims to serve as a comprehensive shopping destination for families. He emphasized that the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to customer service and contributing to the local economy. The investment for the new Baby Jack’s location totaled around half a million, creating up to ten new job opportunities.

Losana Lewanibeto, an employee who began in the ladies’ department and transitioned to the Baby Jack’s segment, expressed pride in the store’s growth and the expanded product range, which has been well received by customers. She highlighted her positive experiences with shoppers and the supportive environment among colleagues, which has been particularly beneficial for her as a single mother balancing work and family responsibilities.
