Baby Jack’s, a well-known children’s retail chain, has launched its fourth store in Fiji, which represents a significant milestone in its growth. The new store is situated within the Damodar complex in Suva, adding to the existing locations established since 2016.
The first Baby Jack’s store opened in Suva on Renwick Road in mid-August 2016. The Lautoka location followed in 2021, and the flagship store was unveiled in Nadi in 2023. Rayna Chandra, Senior Marketing Officer at Jack’s of Fiji, noted that the opening of the original store generated enthusiastic feedback, leading to increased demand from Central customers for more locations.
“The Damodar complex attracts thousands of visitors each day, and we believe that this new outlet will enhance business opportunities while also invigorating the overall atmosphere,” she said. Baby Jack’s offers a variety of in-house brands like Katchi Kid’s, Crazy Jack’s, and Jackie K, as well as international names such as Ryco and Avent. The store provides a wide selection of children’s clothing, feeding essentials, strollers, cots, baby walkers, and numerous educational and recreational toys.
Furthermore, Akash Narsey, Group Marketing Manager at Jack’s of Fiji, explained that the integration of Baby Jack’s within the Damodar store aims to establish a comprehensive shopping destination for parents and children. To enhance the Damodar store, an investment of approximately half a million dollars was made, leading to the recruitment of up to ten new staff members. Narsey also assured that Jack’s of Fiji plans to continue investing in new store openings soon.
